Jedd Fisch and his wife, Amber Fisch, have been married for almost two decades. While Bob Stoops set multiple coaching records at Oklahoma, one of his most significant choices happened off the field. Bob Stoops positively touched innumerable lives throughout his remarkable coaching stint at Oklahoma, with current Arizona head coach Jedd Fisch being one such recipient. Bob Stoops was instrumental in introducing Jedd Fisch to his future wife, Amber Fisch, during an AFCA coaches convention in 2000.
Amber was dating AFCA Executive Director Grant Teaff at the time, which led to their marriage a few years later. Amber Fisch was born Amber Mosley on February 8, 1976. She is originally from Texas, although she has also lived in California. Jedd and Amber Fisch have three daughters: Zaylee Arnet Fisch (born November 10, 1998), Ashlee (born May 16, 2009), and Kendall (born December 20, 2011).
Alamo Bowl 2023
The No. 14 Arizona Wildcats defeated the No. 12 Oklahoma Sooners in the Alamo Bowl on Thursday, 38-24. Despite owning a 24-13 lead in the second quarter, Arizona (10-3, 7-2) recovered, profiting substantially from six turnovers caused. This defensive brilliance enabled Arizona to score 28 points off turnovers, giving the Wildcats their fourth 10-win season in school history. Despite giving up a season-high in yards and a stretch of 24 straight scores in front of 55,853 fans at the Alamodome, Arizona’s defense made critical plays.
This is Arizona’s first bowl victory since 2015, and its first 10-win season since 2014. Furthermore, the Wildcats’ victory was their seventh in a row, tying a school record for the longest in-season winning run. This was also Arizona’s sixth win against a ranked opponent, the most in school history.
