My husband, who is also the father of my children, was detained in 2016 for conspiracy to traffic people. I am a stay-at-home mom with three young children. My children and their happiness have always been at the center of my life. My whole life has been turned upside down, and all I can think of is what I can do to make sure my kids are okay.
I used to think that if my kids were okay, I would be fine too. As a result, I continued to be in my marriage. I persist in my belief that I must act that way for the well-being of my children. Just as a mother took my father away from me, I cannot take my father away from them. That is the most important thing.

I didn’t understand it until I watched the father of my children brush them. My kids were okay. Things were never accepted.
But I had to take alternate action to fix it. The first time I needed healing. Even before them, I had to commit to myself. I must end my marriage and find the strength to speak up for my children, whose souls lack a voice of their own, by standing up for them.
The most selfless thing I’ve ever done was put myself first. Find Me was done by standing in my strength. And it was they who helped us get out of the predicament I was in. Time to tell the world about my experience!
