Columbus, Ohio – Authorities in Columbus have identified the individuals involved in a tragic incident being investigated as a potential murder-suicide that occurred last Thursday. The victims have been named as Adrianne Collins, 37, and Jermaine Levert, 46, both residents of an apartment complex in the 6000 block of Lake Club Court.
Police responded to a call around 9:30 a.m. and discovered both Collins and Levert deceased inside their apartment, having sustained gunshot wounds. Medics arrived at the scene and pronounced the victims deceased at 9:32 a.m.
While the initial investigation suggests one of the gunshot wounds was self-inflicted, authorities are awaiting lab results to comprehensively determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
Collins and Levert were co-residents in the apartment, as confirmed by the police and neighbors, adding a layer of poignancy to this heart-wrenching incident.
