Biography of Abdu Rozik
Abdu Rozik was born on September 23, 2003 in Gishdarva, Panjakent District, Tajikistan. He is also known as Savriqul Muhammadroziqi. He will be 19 years old in 2021. His star sign is Libra. He went to school until 10th grade. He learned to read and write after a while. He started singing in the streets of Gishdarva at a very young age.

His father’s name is Savriqul Muhammad, and his mother’s name is Rooh Afza. His parents were gardeners. Not much is known about his siblings. The Rozik family has two sisters and two brothers.

Rare disease
He suffered from rickets since childhood, growth hormone deficiency. Because his family’s finances are poor, they cannot provide medical care for him. This hindered his physical development. In an interview, he was asked if his state of health had ever compromised his sense of self-worth. He responded,
Actually, no. Many people I know are unemployed, have no family, and are in dire need. Although I’ve been through most of my hardships, I’m satisfied with what I’ve achieved so far. What more could I want in my career after sharing the stage with the world’s greatest composer? I hope to motivate others who are dealing with the same issue. Everyone is unique in some way, in my opinion.
Career
Singer
His singing career officially started in 2019. He was singing when a singer-rapper from his town came to see him. Abdu has voiced several Tajik songs, including “Modar”, “Chaki Chaki Boron” and “Ohi Dili Zor” (all from 2019). (2021).

I learned songs by listening to them on cassettes. Whenever I’m stressed, I usually hum and sing to distract myself. Eventually, singing became a passion. I live in a village, and so I often sing at markets. My social media still has those videos from when I started,” he shared, adding, “I only learned about the latest songs after moving to Dubai.”
His songs are available on the YouTube channel Avlod media. The lyrics of most of his songs are based on his struggling life.
Abdu has also participated in several mixed martial arts matches against child or dwarf opponents. Hasbulla, a Russian TikToker and MMA athlete who also suffers from the same illness, challenged him to a mixed martial arts match in May 2021. On social media, their mixed martial arts match immediately caused excitement, but the Russian Dwarf Athletes Association (RDAA) disapproved of it and thought it unethical. During the interview, Hasbulla was asked about the change and gave the following answer:

Gaining popularity in India
In 2021, he posted a video of himself singing Arijit Singh’s Hindi song “Enna Sona”, which was featured in the movie “OK Jaanu”. (2017). He has received an invitation to attend the IIFA Awards (2022) taking place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. On this occasion, he performed the Bollywood song “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga,” featured in the movie “1942: A Love Story” (1994). He sang the song and dedicated it to Salman Khan, who was also present at the ceremony. Salman Khan approached him after the event and hugged him tightly.
Abdu is then invited to India for the wedding reception of Khatija Rahman, daughter of AR Rahman. In an interview, Rahman talked about it and said,
Ameen (Rahman’s son and musician) knew what I was doing and contacted me. We continued to keep in touch, and then we met for the first time in Dubai. We became good friends and then, I met AR Rahmanji. I played the piano and we all had an impromptu exchange. That was my first meeting with him.”
In addition, he also shared the stage with famous Indian singer AR Rahman. While they were discussing the same topic in an interview, he made the following statement:
I sang Mustafa Mustafa with him on stage. It is an honor to perform with an Oscar-winning composer who is known globally for his music. I was definitely nervous while singing his lines. But you’re sweet enough for me to sing the whole thing. Being on stage with one of my favorite musicians was a dream come true moment for me.”
In 2022, he joined the sixteenth season of the Hindi reality TV show “Bigg Boss”. He discussed his involvement in the show when interviewed for the article. He say,
I’m so excited and nervous but I can’t wait to start the next chapter of my life with Bigg Boss 16. Being short and small used to be a hindrance because people always underestimated my gift. People always vilified me as an unfortunate child of God and mocked me for my disability throughout my childhood, but now look what I have achieved today.”

- Abdu was first discovered by Tajik blogger and rapper Baron (Behruz), who convinced Abdu’s father to allow him to pursue a singing career. Abdu’s father gave him permission, and later, Abdu moved to Dubai with the Baron. Initially, Baron helped Abdu financially.
