A man ‘Gary Clarke’ dies in Jet Ski Accident in Carlingford (Warrenpoint)

A tragic jet ski accident on Carlingford Lough resulted in the death of a ‘Gary Clarke’ man in his 40s.

Emergency services quickly responded to the incident on Monday afternoon after receiving reports of two skiers in distress.

Unfortunately, the man passed away on Tuesday afternoon, while the woman who was also rescued remains in a stable condition at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

Multiple agencies, including Kilkeel and Clogherhead RNLI, were involved in a rescue operation prompted by a concerned member of the public who noticed a jet ski on Carlingford. Lough, showing that it was flipped.
