Career
In 2000, he published his debut album with bandmate Llandel Malave. El Sobreviviente, his debut solo album, was released in 2004. Wisin released his second solo studio album, El Regreso del Sobreviviente, ten years later in 2014. Wisin is currently touring with Hoang. Royce as part of their Power and Love project. Wisin and Yandel first met at school. In the late 1990s, they became close friends and began performing duets.
They eventually released their first album, Los Reyes del Nuevo Milenio, in 2000. They then managed to break through to become a major label with Mi Vida… My Life, their debut work. for Universal’s subsidiary Machete Music in 2003. Then, in 2005, they published Pa’l Mundo, which became a mainstream hit. Wisin and Yandel later founded their own label, WY Records, and introduced an affiliated group, Los Vaqueros. The couple took a sabbatical in November 2013, following their Lderes tour, although there were speculations that their split was due to disagreements, Yandel denied those claims and clarified that they not yet dissolved.
