Among those tragically killed were Bob Violettte, Ron Morin, Tricia Asselin, Tom Conrad, Billy Brackett, Michael Deslauriers II, Joseph Walker, Jason Walker, Bryan Macfarlane, Steve Vozzella, Arthur Strout, Joshua Seal, Peyton Brewer-Ross, Maxx Hathaway, Bill Young, and Aaron Young.

The shocking series of events began at around 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening, with reports of a gunman at a local bowling alley where a children’s event was taking place. As the chaos unfolded, another shooting incident occurred at a nearby neighborhood pub and grill. Authorities swiftly advised residents to remain indoors and secure their homes as the manhunt for the suspect, identified as Robert Card, was initiated.
The Lewiston Police Department released a wanted poster on their Facebook page, seeking information on the whereabouts of Robert Card. Despite having a history of mental health concerns, including hearing voices, Card had received training as a firearms instructor at a US Army Reserve training camp in Maine. Reports also indicated that Card had spent a period at a mental health facility earlier in the summer, raising concerns about his mental state during the time of the tragic events.
