Who Is Kiran Jethwa From “Chefs vs. Wild” Season 1?

Season 1 of Hulu’s Chefs vs. Wild will air on September 26. A program that blends cuisine and outdoors will be seen by the culinary industry. The event will be presented by famous chef and explorer Kiran Jethwa, who also hosts and presents the television show Tales From The Bush Larder, which focuses on Africa’s culinary culture.

Each episode of Chefs vs. Outdoors will showcase two world-renowned chefs seeking the wild for the needed ingredients for producing delectable meals. To fulfill their culinary challenges, the participant chefs will have to confront numerous risky undertakings throughout their hunt in the wild.

Kiran Jethwa, 46, is a well-known chef, restaurateur, and business owner. He was born in Nairobi to an English mother and an Indian father, and his culinary technique reflects the influence of both cultures. After earning his BSc in Hospitality Management in Manchester, he went throughout the globe to hone his culinary skills, visiting Italy, France, South Africa, South East Asia, South and Central America, and Australia. African, European, and Indian food inspires the Chefs vs. Wild hosts. His culinary technique has been characterized as a blend of Afro-Mediterranean and Indian flavors.

Kiran has been the chef and proprietor of Seven Restaurants Ltd., one of Nairobi’s best restaurant enterprises, since 2011. Seafood & Grill and Seven Lounge & Grill are part of it. Within four years, the eateries had become the most popular dining establishments in Kenya’s cosmopolitan city. He has also featured in a number of television series. In 2016, he co-hosted Channel 4’s Food Unwrapped with Jimmy Doherty, Kate Quilton, and Matt Tebbutt. He was a judge on The Great Kenyan Bake Off, KTN Home’s Kenyan counterpart of The Great British Bake Off.

He has also garnered several awards over his career. In 2012, he was named a Finalist for Taste Chef of the Year, and in 2013, he was named a Finalist for Taste Chef of the Year. In 2013, he was named Winner Taste Industry Champion and Chefs Delight: Most Innovative Chef. Tales From The Bush Larder, a Fox International TV program, was his spectacular Freshman debut. It was an award-winning program that ran for three seasons and was seen in 60 countries.
