Jyoti Maurya, an SDM (Division Judge) in Bareilly, recently made headlines with viral videos and photos on social media. In one of the viral videos, Jyoti Maurya was seen cursing her husband and in-laws, while in another she accused them of dowry harassment.
Jyoti Maurya, a native of Varanasi, has been a government official since 2019, a trainee official at the Kaushambi tea division. Currently, she holds the position of SDM in Bareilly. In 2010, she married Alok Maurya and they have twin daughters together.
Alok Maurya, Jyoti’s husband, filed a complaint with Home Guard Headquarters, alleging that his wife had an affair with Ghaziabad House Guard Commander Manish Dubey and that they were plotting to kill him. . The investigation into this matter has been entrusted to Deputy Commander Santosh Kumar in Prayagraj.
According to Alok, their married life was going well until Jyoti met Manish Dubey in 2020. Alok stated that Jyoti grew closer to Manish and distanced himself from him. Suspicious of his wife’s behavior, Alok checked her mobile phone and discovered several conversations between Jyoti and Manish Dubey, who is currently appointed as the Commander of the Home Guard.
Alok’s complaint states that Jyoti and her lover are plotting to kill him. He tried to report this to Prayagraj police, but his complaint was not registered. In response to Jyoti’s dowry harassment allegations, a lawsuit against Alok and others was registered.
Jyoti Maurya earned 16th place in the PCS (Provincial Civil Service) exam in 2015 and recognized the success of her father-in-law. She has served in various districts, including Jaunpur, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj and Lucknow.
Jyoti Maurya’s mistress, Manish Dubey, was appointed Commander of the Ghaziabad Housing Guard and was also accused of having an affair with a female security guard. He is also said to have married a girl from Lucknow. The victim’s husband is believed to be a native of Azamgarh, working as a sweeper in Pratapgarh.
The relationship between Jyoti and Alok started in 2010 when they got married. However, in 2020, Jyoti’s exposure to the Commander of the Home Guard created a rift between them, leading to the current controversy surrounding their relationship.
