Who Is Christian Suzuki From “Drink Masters”?

Drink Masters on Netflix is guaranteed to tickle your tastebuds. The new reality television competition series focuses on bartending and mixology. It featured a total of 12 candidates competing for the title of Ultimate Drink Master. Aside from the title, the winner won a $100,000 cash award. On October 28, 2022, the program debuted.

According to the official summary of Drink Masters,

“Twelve of the world’s most creative mixologists infuse, swirl, and blend their way through a series of high-stakes cocktail challenges for the chance to win a life-changing reward and the title of The Ultimate Drink Master.”

Each episode, one of the 12 candidates that joined the tournament was eliminated. Only four participants advanced to the semi-finals. Christian “Suzu” Suzuki, a mixology specialist from San Francisco, California, was among them. He advanced to the semi-finals and faced an elimination match against Tao Zafri. He did his best, but it wasn’t enough, and he was removed. Christian’s drinks wowed the judges throughout the tournament, even if he did not make it to the grand finals.

The judges in Drink Masters were pleased by Christian’s unusual approach to drinks.

Christian, 32, joined Drink Masters wanting to win the championship. He wanted to show that he could handle the difficulties that the judges threw at him in each round. His Japanese origin was evident in the cocktails he served to the judges. His Japanese grandparents had taught him the art of hospitality, he explained. He also has an extensive understanding of the art of mixology. Aside from that, his charisma has earned him one of the season’s favorites.

Despite a rocky start to the tournament, he avoided elimination and advanced all the way to the semifinals. Christian also stunned the judges in episode 7 with his cocktail and vegan wontons. He eventually won the episode. The Drink Masters contestant presently lives in San Francisco and works as the General Manager of Wildhawk, a neighborhood cocktail bar. Christian revealed in an interview with Distiller Magazine that Wildhawk is operated by a woman and a queer person of color. Christian started working as a bartender when he was 21 years old. He also recently held his own pop-up shop, which was inspired by his grandmother’s bar in Japan from the 1950s through the 1960s. Kayani Pop-up was the name of his pop-up. One of his life goals, according to The Cinemaholic, is to revive his grandmother’s bar using real Japanese products.
