Wendy Gaye Filed A Domestic Violence Restraining Order Against Her Husband Marvin Gaye III

Wendy Gaye, wife of Marvin Gaye III, filed an appeal against the domestic violence ban on January 17 after Marvin was detained for threatening her with a pistol. Marvin and Wendy’s marriage seems to be in trouble, and things have taken a turn for the worse now after Marvin’s arrest. Marvin’s cousin was also among those killed in the claimed event. Marvin III was taken into custody January 13 after allegedly threatening Wendy and his cousin with a revolver. According to TMZ, Wendy and Marvin began arguing, which led the latter to pull out his revolver. The policemen ran to his whereabouts, believing he was inside the house and asked him to get out. After the confrontation, neighbors informed the officers that he had departed in his vehicle. On January 14, Marvin III surrendered to the Sheriff’s Department and was charged with minor domestic violence and felony assault with a firearm. He was released on $50,000 bail and a protective order was issued ordering him to stay away from home and his family. Police spoke to Marvin III’s family and filed an assault complaint. Although no one was injured in the dispute inside Marvin III’s home, medical and police officials assisted Wendy.
