Atlanta, GA – Carlos Soler, a beloved figure in the world of volleyball and a dedicated coach, has sadly passed away after battling cancer. His sudden death on Saturday, September 30, 2023, has left many hearts grieving. Carlos Soler’s life was deeply intertwined with the sport of volleyball, and he dedicated himself to helping his players reach their fullest potential on the court.
A5 Volleyball shared Carlos Soler’s passing and wrote,
“We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Coach Carlos Soler. Coach Carlos made a tremendous impact on all of the lives that he touched. His whole life was influenced by volleyball and his passion was to grow his players to their maximum potential. The volleyball community is heartbroken by this news, but we will always remember him as an amazing coach, mentor, and friend.”
Throughout his coaching career, Carlos Soler was associated with A5 Volleyball, where he made a lasting impact on the lives of those he mentored. The A5 Volleyball team paid tribute to him in a recent heartfelt social media post, underlining the profound loss the volleyball community and beyond are experiencing. His infectious smile and beautiful soul will be deeply missed.
As a Boys Coach at A5 Volleyball and Head Coach at Life University, Carlos Soler influenced and inspired countless individuals in the realm of volleyball. Beyond his coaching roles, he pursued education, studying Music Theory and Composition at Georgia State University and Composition and Music Technology at LaGrange College. He began his educational journey at Lake Brantley High School. Originally from Altamonte Springs, Florida, he later settled in Atlanta, Georgia, where he continued to impact lives until his passing.
