The passing of Vincent Sharps, a former employee of Baltimore’s Mindgrub Technologies and a resident of Columbia, Maryland, has left a void in the hearts of those who knew him. Vincent, who departed on Sunday, September 24, 2023, was remembered in a heartfelt Facebook post that conveyed the profound impact he had on the lives of many.

Vincent Sharps embarked on his educational journey at Hammond High School before pursuing higher education at Coppin State University. His professional career was marked by a remarkable diversity of roles and notable achievements.

He began his career as a Customer Service Manager at American Excelsior (AEC) in Columbia, Maryland, where he dedicated one year and nine months, from December 1998 to August 2000. Vincent’s journey then led him to the role of Partner & General Manager at Allegra Marketing, Print & Web, a position he held for an impressive three years and four months, from September 2000 to December 2003.

In January 2004, Vincent Sharps ventured into entrepreneurship as a Co-Founder & President at Graphic Press, a role he diligently fulfilled for an impressive eight years and seven months, concluding in July 2012. His dedication and expertise subsequently led him to become the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Graphic Press Division at Sir Speedy BWI • Columbia, where he excelled for two years and two months, from July 2012 to August 2014.

Recognized for his exceptional skills, Vincent was subsequently promoted to the position of Executive Vice President (EVP) & Chief Marketing Officer, a role he successfully held for one year and seven months, from August 2014 to February 2016. During this time, he also contributed as a Council Member at GLG.

Continuing his entrepreneurial journey, Vincent co-founded and served as President of Mindgov in Washington D.C., where he played a pivotal role for four years and six months, from August 2018 to January 2023. Vincent Sharps’ dedication to innovation and leadership led him to a role as Vice President at Mindgrub for three years and three months, commencing in February 2016.
