The Georgia Bureau of Investigation looked into Kutti’s behavior, but no criminal charges were brought against her. She was however let go from her position as Kanye West’s publicist.
Kutti has denied doing anything illegal. She has claimed that she never threatened Freeman and that she was merely attempting to assist her. Freeman, however, said that Kutti’s presence made her feel threatened and intimidated.
Kutti has received criticism for acting unethically on other occasions outside the event with Ruby Freeman. She was sued in 2019 by a former client who claimed she had stolen money. A settlement was reached outside of court.

One of those accused on Monday in Georgia as part of a comprehensive indictment alleged that they planned to collude to rig the 2020 election and thwart a peaceful transfer of power. The publicist from Chicago was one of seven people charged.
