Tragic Road-Rage Shooting Claims Life of 4-Year-Old in Lancaster

In a heartbreaking and senseless act of violence, a 4-year-old boy, Gor Adamyan, lost his life in a deadly road-rage shooting in Lancaster, California, on Friday. The suspects, identified as Byron Burkhart, 29, and Alexandria Gentile, 27, a couple and parents of two children, now face charges of murder in connection with this tragic incident.

The horrifying sequence of events unfolded around 7:30 p.m. when Burkhart and Gentile allegedly pursued the Adamyan family vehicle along local roads. The suspects, parents themselves, cut off the family and engaged in a fatal encounter that claimed the life of young Gor Adamyan.

Gor, described as a typical 4-year-old who cherished stuffed animals, toy vehicles, and his family, was seated in the backseat of his family’s vehicle as they drove to get supplies in Lancaster. The suspects reportedly stopped the family initially, and then pursued them through city streets. In a shocking turn of events, the suspects stopped next to the Adamyan family vehicle and opened fire, striking Gor in the upper torso.

His parents and father rushed him to the hospital, but tragically, Gor succumbed to his injuries. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department swiftly responded, locating the suspect’s vehicle and apprehending Byron Burkhart and Alexandria Gentile on charges of homicide.

A GoFundMe page has been established to support the Adamyan family with funeral expenses during this unimaginably difficult time. Those who wish to contribute can find the page online.
