Duncan Prentice tragically lost his life in a devastating head-on collision in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, on December 27, 2023. The fatal incident unfolded along Louisiana Highway 182, near Sugar Ridge Drive, resulting in grievous injuries for both drivers involved, including 28-year-old Duncan Prentice.
The collision occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 5 a.m., when Prentice’s westward-bound Ford F-150 was struck by Melissa Stelly’s eastward-traveling Ford F-350. The impact caused Prentice’s truck to veer off the road, overturning into Bayou Black, leading to a fire that engulfed both vehicles. Sadly, neither driver, including Duncan Prentice, survived the tragic accident despite prompt emergency response efforts from Louisiana State Police Troop C.
