Thom Bell, a famous singer, songwriter, record producer and songwriter, passed away on December 22 at the age of 79. Michael Silver, his attorney, announced the news. Gail Ann Dorsey, a musician, shared her sadness in a social media post featuring a photo of Bell. Gail said in the article that she grew up in West Philadelphia during the 1960s and 1970s when Bell dominated the music business. Bell’s cause of death has not yet been revealed, however, his journalist has verified that he died at his home in Bellingham, Washington.

Thom Bell rose to fame as a composer and choreographer.
Born on January 26, 1943, he began his career with Cameo Records, where he worked on several songs for the vocal group The Delfonics. He has also staged performances by many musicians. During the 1970s, Bell was a member of the musical group The Stylistics. He has collaborated on three albums with poet Linda Creed and singer Russell Thompkins Jr. Thom and Linda have collaborated on several additional tunes that have received a positive response from listeners.
Thom then joined The Spinners, a rhythm & blues vocal group. With his support, the band was able to record 5 gold-certified albums. He co-wrote Then Came You with Dionne Warwick, the song that reached the top of the Billboard charts. Bell has collaborated on several songs with Deniece Williams, James Ingram, Elton John and others. Several popular songs are the result of his collaborations, including It’s Gonna Take a Miracle, I Don’t Have the Heart, The Thom Bell Sessions, and others.
