The Masked Singer season eight has ended and the winner has been announced. The epic two-hour finale of the reality TV competition series airs on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. CT. Fans finally know who won the championship and whether their predictions were correct from the start. The two finalists who competed against each other in the finale were fan favorites The Harp and The Lambs. They defied all odds, winning over every other celebrity in disguise and progressing to the grand finale. This season is also the first season in The Masked Singer history to be dominated by female contestants.
As panelists tried to figure out who was the celebrity behind the masks, judges Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, Nicole Scherzinger and Jenny McCarthy returned to their seats. The two finalists battled for the championship in a dramatic two-hour finale. Lady Gaga’s The Edge of Glory and John Mayer’s Gravity performed by The Harp. Meanwhile, The Lambs performed I’m Every Woman by Chaka Khan and I Want to Know What Love is by Foreigner.
The judges and the studio audience voted for their favorite contestant after their performance. After counting the votes, host Nick Cannon announced the Harp had won The Masked Singer season 8 championship. The harp also got the coveted Golden Mask. Since The Harp won Season 8 of The Masked Singer, The Lambs were the first to be revealed. Wilson Philips, a platinum-selling female trio, has been released. Finally, Amber Riley, an award-winning actress, is revealed as The Harp.
Fans flocked to social media after The Harp was declared the winner to express their feelings.
Fans were overjoyed when The Harp won the finale of The Masked Singer season 8. Fans couldn’t contain their excitement when they announced that the celebrity had indeed won the title on Twitter. They were also relieved that their prediction had come true. Fans suspected Amber Riley was behind the mask from the very beginning of The Harp’s first performance.
