Schabusiness and Thyrion have been friends for a few years and they met on the night of February 22, 2022 to have sex. According to the criminal complaint, the two of them used meth and had sex in which Schabusiness strangled Thyrion. She then used a knife to dismember him, then put his head and genitals in a bucket.

Jolly requested an adjournment hearing during her court appearance. Later, Schabusiness attacked Jolly after grabbing him.
