Season 2 of Sweet Tooth will be on Netflix next month. Season 1 of the TV series, based on the comic book of the same name by Jeff Lemire, is created by Jim Mickle, who will also return for season 2. The first season of the epic series is published by Netflix on May 4. 6 in 2021 and revived for a second season a month later. Season 2 of Sweet Tooth has yet to receive a preview, and fans can’t wait to see what it has in store for them. Season 2’s cast includes several recurring performers, including Nonso Anozie as Tommy Jepperd, Adeel Akhtar as Dr Aditya Singh, and Christian Convery as Gus. Fans are currently expecting the premiere of the second episode, which will air on Netflix on April 27, 2023.

The series’ social media accounts wrote: while sharing an update on the upcoming season along with some early shots:
“All mix, please. We are back! Sweet Appetite Season 2 will be released exclusively on Netflix on April 27.”
The first season ends with the Last Men holding Gus in a herd of abandoned animals. The Last Men is a militia organization led by the evil General Abbot (Neil Sandilands). Gus (Christian Convery) decides to join Dr. Singh in season 2 to protect his friends, thus “starting a grim journey into his initiation and the involvement of Birdie’s mother (Amy Seimetz) into the events leading up to The Great Collapse.”
To be sure, the sequel, like the first, will feature eight segments, all of which are expected to release on the same day. The following is a summary of the upcoming season, provided by the OTT giants:
“As a deadly new outbreak of Infected humans breaks out, Gus and a group of hybrid friends are taken prisoner by General Abbot (Neil Sandilands) and the Last Men. The abbot uses the children as material for the trials of inmate Dr. Aditya Singh, who is rushing to save his ailing wife Rani (Aliza Vellani) to gain control.
In addition to the aforementioned, the Sweet Appetite season 2 team also includes:
- Naledi Murray as Wendy
- Christopher Sean Cooper Jr. as Teddy Turtle
- Stefania LaVie Owen as Bear
- Marlon Williams as Johnny Abbot
- Yonas Kibreab as Finnish Fox
Meanwhile, two-time Golden Globe winner James Brolin will serve as the series’ narrator. From January to May 2022, the season 2 crew established bases in Warkworth and Auckland, New Zealand. The only set of season 1 is also in the country.
