Sue Wiley made history as LEX 18’s first female anchor, leaving an indelible mark on the station and the broadcasting industry. Her distinguished career at LEX 18 spanned three decades, from 1968 to 1998, during which she displayed her talents as on-air talent and TV show host. Notably, she spearheaded the immensely popular midday news show, “Noon Today,” where her innovative approach and dedication led the program to secure high Nielsen ratings, often surpassing competitors.
