Stéphanie Frappart (born 14 December 1983) is a French football referee. Since 2009, she has been on the FIFA List of International Referees and has officiated a number of celebrity matches. In 2019, she became the first woman to referee a major men’s match in Europe and a match in the French Ligue 1. In 2020, she will be the first woman to referee a UEFA Champions League match. Frappart is the first woman to officiate a Men’s World Cup Qualifier match in 2021. She is one of three women selected to referee at the Men’s World Cup in 2022.

In the mid-2000s, Stephanie began an apprenticeship as a referee. In 2009, she was included in the FIFA List of International Referees for the first time. In 2011, Frappart started working on a match. This is a football match at Championnat National, the third division in France. Frappart was the first woman to referee in Ligue 2 in 2014. Stephanie was the referee at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada the following year.
