The incident reportedly occurred between 3:45 and 4:15 when the suspect, demanding money, assaulted the elderly man who was defending his 80-year-old wife. The assailant barged into the bungalow, kicked the victim in the neck, causing cuts and bruises to his face, knuckles, and wrists. The suspect then allegedly stole forty dollars from the woman’s purse before fleeing the property.
