Sophie Bennett first appeared as a toddler in a commercial for children’s shampoo. She currently directs and produces in Canada. Sophie also works as a project manager in Toronto, Ontario and has her own YouTube channel. After being cast as Stevie Lake in “The Saddle Club”, she moved to Australia for six months in 2000. She was 11 years old at the time. Bennett later recorded four albums with her co-stars under the moniker The Saddle Club. She and her co-stars also performed The Saddle Club Arena Show on horseback during the Sydney Royal Easter Show at the Sydney Superdome in 2004.
Bennett released five Saddle Club CDs between 2001 and 2004. (Fun For Everyone, On Top Of The World, Friends Forever, Hello World: The Best Of The Saddle Club, Saddle Club Greatest Hits, Summer With The Saddle Club, and Secrets & Dreams ). Bennett joined Shock Records in 2003 and has since produced five CDs and two singles with former Saddle Club co-star Kia Luby.
Her other novels are based on Stars, and the series ends with the third and final book. She became a full-time writer after the competition, with other Youth novels in the works. She is now a great writer who also gives writing advice on her website.
