Shehzad Poonawalla Career
Shehzad Poonawalla is a young and vibrant member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), joining the organization in early 2017. He has been putting a lot of effort into his political career at the federal level.
Poonawalla comes from a family of politicians. His uncle Shahnawaz Poonawalla is Lok Sabha congressman from Banaskantha district of Gujarat, while his father Sarfaraz Poonawalla served as BJP state legislator from Barmer district of Rajasthan.
Shehzad held positions of corporate executive and entrepreneur before joining BJP. He started an information technology business and oversaw it for three years as CEO. He also launched The Patriot, his own news network, in 2015.
