Actor and influencer Mohammed Shayan Ali used social media on Tuesday (May 16) to describe his treatment of the Interagency Intelligence Service (ISI) and events resulted in his permanent exile from the State of Pakistan.
Ali described how ISPR, the public relations department of the Pakistani army, directed him to produce anti-India propaganda. He was later accused of working for the Indian Intelligence Service, R&AW, and being a Jewish agent.
“People who know me know that when I refused to do a music video for DG-ISPR with the name “Kashmir Hon Mein,” they started accusing me of being a RAW and JEW agent just because of my blonde hair.” he commented.

Born in Pakistan and fluent in Urdu, Shayan Ali notes that the Pakistani Intelligence Service regularly recruits figures like him for advertising work. He admitted that he turned down an invitation to make a propaganda music video about Jammu and Kashmir and told his audience a lot.
“Almost all of my fellow influencers agree with ISI for this music video, except me. When I told them that what they were showing was inaccurate and completely contrary to reality, this was exactly what provoked them.
The man stated: “I have always refused to participate in the ISI and Government of Pakistan spoofing campaigns and I used to refuse every time they contact me, but since this is about Kashmir and that is an It was a huge problem, and after I refused, they started to suspect me and started treating me like a RAW agent.”
The influencer, who has 18k followers on Twitter, claims that due to constant harassment by ISI, he has no choice but to leave Pakistan permanently. He claimed that the Pakistani spy agency even plotted to kill him.
“I left Pakistan in September 2019, however that information was not updated on the status of Pakistan. When “PTA (Pakistan Telecommunications Authority)” learned of a recent post on social media that I criticized Pakistan, they sent Sindh Police to arrest me. At that point, they realized that I was no longer a resident of Pakistan,” he said.
Shayan Ali claimed that the Pakistani military authorities panicked when they realized that they could not reach him. As a result, he regularly received death threats and censorship.
