Shaun Miles, 41-year-old, of Central Square, NY dies in a tragic motorcycle accident

Salina, NY – In a devastating incident on Tuesday night, September 19, a motorcyclist lost his life in a grave collision on Vine Street in Salina, as confirmed by the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.

The authorities were alerted to the scene near Continuum and Wrentham Drives on Vine Street just before 7:20 p.m. Upon reaching the location, they discovered that the victim of the tragic crash was Shaun Miles, a 41-year-old resident of Central Square. He had been involved in a head-on collision and was quickly transported to Upstate Hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.

The fatal crash involved a head-on collision between the motorcycle, ridden by Shaun Miles, and a car. The accident occurred just before 7:30 p.m. on that fateful Tuesday evening.

Regrettably, Shaun Miles did not survive the collision, and the medical team at Upstate Hospital pronounced him deceased due to the severity of his injuries. Fortunately, the driver of the car emerged unharmed from the incident. Presently, the investigation to determine the cause of the crash remains ongoing.

As a consequence of the accident, Vine Street in Salina has been closed, and authorities estimate it will remain shut for approximately another hour as investigations and necessary procedures continue.
