Pledis Entertainment has revealed details of BooSeokSoon’s long-awaited comeback on January 12. According to their Weverse post, the group’s debut single album, SECOND WIND, will be released on May 6. 2 at 6pm KST. The album will also be available in physical form, with pre-orders starting January 13 at 11 a.m. KST.
BooSeokSoon is a subgroup of SEVENTEEN consisting of members Seungkwan, DK and Hoshi. The unit name is a combination of their real names: Boo Seung-kwan, Lee Seok-min and Kwon Soon-young, also known as BSS. The three are recognized for their frenetic energy as well as the humorous situations they create together. Also, to mark the release of BSS’s first album, their management company held a unique offline event on February 12, 8 PM KST called SEVENTEEN BSS’ RUNNING TIME: Run to Andromeda.

The event will feature three SEVENTEEN members as MCs, DK, Seungkwan, and Hoshi, who will conduct commentary while showing off their smart hosting talents. BooSeokSoon will also be live streaming their upcoming title single in front of fans. However, given the limitation of an offline event, there are a few criteria for those who want to participate.

As with other K-pop event apps, there are some prerequisites and procedures to follow to register for this BooSeokSoon event. Anyone who purchased one or more BSS SECOND WIND recordings from Weverse Shop GLOBAL between January 13 and February 5 is eligible to participate in the event. There will be 330 randomly selected winners from the app pool and they will be revealed on February 7 at 2pm KST. All candidates must have a Weverse account, and both the event app and album purchases must be made with the same account.
The number of albums ordered from Weverse Shop GLOBAL enhances an individual’s chance of participating in the event, as purchases through other sites are not similarly eligible. If a person cancels their record purchase after submitting an event application, their participation in the event will be considered invalid. Winners of the event are not allowed to transfer or sell their tickets to others. If identified, the participant will be banned from not only this event but all future activities of SEVENTEEN. BooSeokSoo’s next physical album will have only one version, which includes the following items:
Outbox, Photobook, CD, Lyric Book, Photocard (2/6 random), Habit Tracker (1/3 random), BSS Card (1/3 random), Sticker and Folden Poster.
Finally, BooSeokSoon’s album will include a cardholder with its own set of features such as cardholder, selfie photo card (2/6 random, 3 variations with 2 photos each) and user manual. Also, depending on the medium/website used to purchase the recording, each album pre-order comes with its own set of advantages. Following the release of BooSeok’s album, SEVENTEEN began promoting by updating their social media account titles and profile pictures to reflect SECOND WIND’s color palette.
