COTTS VALLEY, Calif. – A devastating crash in Scotts Valley on Wednesday has left the community mourning the loss of two lives. The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victims as Laurie E. Bryant, 58, and Steven L. Bryant, 62, both hailing from San Jose.
The incident, which occurred on Mount Hermon Road between Skypark Drive and Lockhart Gulch Drive, sent shockwaves through the quiet town. The Scotts Valley Police Department swiftly responded to the scene, discovering two vehicles at the intersection, but the exact circumstances of the collision are yet to be determined.
Tragically, a man and a woman, later identified as Laurie and Steven Bryant, lost their lives in the same car, casting a somber cloud over the community.
