Scott Allen Berger of Dartmouth passes away unexpectedly

Scott A. Berger, a beloved figure in Dartmouth, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was 57. Survived by his devoted wife, Kimberley A. (Rose) Berger, Scott was known for his warm and outgoing personality, always lighting up every gathering with his infectious sense of humor. He cherished his time with his wife and daughter, often fondly referring to them as “his girls.” Alongside his family moments, he found joy in camping trips and occasional visits to the casino.

A graduate of Greater New Bedford Vocational High School, Scott excelled in auto mechanics and was a dedicated member of the Golf team. Renowned for his strong work ethic, he worked as a manager for Rainoni’s Pizza and later as a foreman at Short Pour Form Company, which he co-owned with his wife since 1997.

In addition to his wife and daughter, Scott is survived by his parents, Gerard and Shirley (Martin) Berger of Florida, and his siblings, Susan Geier and her husband David of Wisconsin, and Brian Berger and his wife Amy of Massachusetts. He also leaves behind his cherished nephews and nieces, Brandon, Austin, Drew, Jake, Adam, and Sally, as well as his great-niece, Georgia.

Those wishing to honor Scott’s memory may consider making contributions to the American Heart Association. Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, at 9:00 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Julie Billiart Church.
