On a fateful day, October 11, 2023, tragedy struck as a collision occurred between a moped and a vehicle in the lower Laurentians of Quebec, near Saint-Eustache. The collision took place at the intersection of Principal and Laviolette Streets, adjacent to Highway 640, just before 8 p.m.
The 15-year-old Dustan Dion was riding his moped through the intersection when the collision transpired with a vehicle. Despite being rushed to Saint-Eustache Hospital by ambulance, tragically, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
