Around 10:55 a.m., tragedy struck as an SUV collided with his bike on Wellington Road 19 at Wellington Road 16. Russell was rushed to a local hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead. He had been carrying a passenger who sustained minor injuries and was also transported to a local hospital.
