It is with great sadness that we announce that coach, teacher, and mentor, Ron Coleman has passed away.
They say a good coach will make his players see what they can be rather than what they are. Stebbins High School and the Mad River School District were fortunate enough to have one of those great coaches in Ron Coleman.
As a teacher, Ron was a charismatic leader who could make his students strive to be their best. He instilled in them the values of discipline, perseverance, and hard work.
His guidance shaped many into better students, better athletes, and better people. His caring attitude for staff, students, and parents was immeasurable. Ron strongly believed that all people, no matter who they were or where they were from, could achieve anything. His guidance and can-do attitude will be missed by all.

Sadly, Ron Coleman passed away on Thursday night, leaving a void that was deeply felt within the Stebbins community. The Stebbins football team managed to secure a victory on Friday, but the sense of loss hung heavy over the stadium. Tributes poured in, honoring his memory and the impact he had on generations of students.
