As the investigation into the tragic mass shootings in Lewiston, Maine, continues, disturbing information has come to light regarding the suspect, Robert Card. A law enforcement bulletin reveals that Card recently reported experiencing severe mental health issues, including hearing voices, and had made threats to shoot up a military base in Saco.
Furthermore, the bulletin indicates that Card had been committed to a mental health facility for a two-week period over the past summer, shedding light on his mental health struggles. In mid-July, leaders of the U.S. Army Reserve’s 3rd battalion took action after noting Card’s erratic behavior.
