Rob Patterson rose to prominence after joining the metal band ‘Otep’, which had a female lead vocalist. While with the group, he contributed by composing and performing on various albums, including ‘Smash the Control Machine’, ‘House of Secrets’ and ‘Sevas Tras’. After Brian Welch’s death in mid-2005, he became the touring guitarist for the American nu metal band Korn. The band released several studio albums during that time, including ‘See You on the Other Side’ and an unnamed album in 2007.
