Halifax, Nova Scotia – The Halifax community is in mourning following the passing of Richard Holman, a cherished resident and the owner and operator of Holman Plumbing. Richard’s untimely departure was announced through a heartfelt social media post that read, “Sad news on the passing of Richard Holman. He was a good guy who worked hard and was a proud baseball dad. I remember Richard as a big little kid doing laps around his parents’ home on a mini bike and later as a hard-charging softball player. Rest easy, Richard Holman.”
Richard Holman, a graduate of Sackville High School, pursued his passion for plumbing and pipefitting at Dartmouth Community College. He later became the proud owner and operator of Holman Plumbing. However, his most cherished role in life was that of a devoted and caring father to his two sons, Jesse Holman and Lee Holman. In 2019, Richard coached the Warehouse Ranger in Moncton at A’s Slo Pitch Canadians and was a dedicated fan of softball.
Richard Holman was a remarkable man, known for his unwavering dedication to his beloved sons. He played a pivotal role in his family’s life, providing unwavering support in all aspects. As a father, Richard excelled beyond measure. Fatherhood was not just a title to him; it was a constant source of joy and fulfillment. Richard’s commitment to his children was unshakeable. With a natural ability to forge close bonds with each of his two sons, Richard created a nurturing and secure environment where they could freely express themselves and pursue their passions.
