Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Rana Sanaullah, was admitted to a hospital in his hometown of Faisalabad amid widespread rumors that he was in cardiac arrest. However, local media reports have made it clear that Sanaullah, 68, has been discharged from the Faisalabad Heart Institute (FIC) after a short period of treatment for high blood pressure.
On Sunday, the popular PML-N leader was hospitalized due to a worrying blood pressure reading of 160/120 mmHg, indicating the severity of his many complications.
Hospital officials informed the media that the minister’s condition had improved and that various tests were conducted to assess the possibility of a heart attack, with positive results. This shows the need for careful observation and monitoring for an experienced politician like Sanaullah.
In the meantime, cardiologists have advised the fiery politician to take a few days off to avoid stress. It is worth noting that Sanaullah underwent a routine check-up and minor surgery at the hospital last year.
