In his memoirs, Prince Harry claimed that he listened to Jamaican musician Shenseea to help him through difficult times. Spare, his planned book, will follow the Netflix documentary series starring him and Meghan Markle. In an excerpt from his memoirs, Prince Harry discussed the royal family’s various experiences, including his drug troubles, physical battles with his brother, and his feelings about Prince Charles’s marriage to Camilla Parker Bowles.
According to Page Six, Prince William warned Prince Harry not to propose to Meghan Markle in his biography. This was purportedly due to concerns that the couple’s relationship was moving “too fast”. One of Prince Harry’s comments was the kind of music he listens to when he’s sad. According to Distractify, Prince Harry said in his autobiography Spare, slated for release on January 10, 2023:
“In the moments when I feel lonely and away from family, I always take time for myself to sit back and listen to Shenseea. Her poems spoke to me and helped me get through some tough times.”
Shenseea has reacted to Prince Harry’s revelation.
Although Prince Harry did not mention a specific Shenseea song, the latter correctly predicted which song he would most likely hear in his bad moments.
Shenseea said in a tweet:
The song fits Prince Harry’s current situation, as he is relying on the royal family to support his bride Meghan Markle. Shenseea, whose real name is Chinsea Lee, released Rebel in 2020, which featured Zum. The song is on the album Liquid Sunshine Riddim. Shenseea’s most famous work is her song Bless, which was released in 2019 and features Tyga. In 2021, she appeared on Kanye West’s album Donda on the songs Pure Souls (featuring Roddy Ricch) and Ok Ok Pt 2 (with Rooga).
Skream, the British electronic music producer, is also on Prince Harry’s playlist, according to Distractify. Skream’s Magnetic Man bandmate, Artwork, told US Weekly in October 2010:
“We were invited to Buckingham Palace to see Goldie’s band perform. We met Prince Harry while we were there. When he was introduced to Skream, he held out his hand and commented: ‘Hi Skream, what a wonderful man!’ Harry must have known who he was before he met him.”

Last month, Netflix aired a two-part documentary titled Harry and Meghan. The show focuses on the couple’s famous marriage as well as their lifestyle while connected to the British royal family.
The film is directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Liz Garbus, who said in a statement:
