In response to this heartbreaking loss, a GoFundMe page titled “In Memory of Elisse Khara” was initiated by Laura Hernandes, a resident of Frederick, Maryland. The fundraiser aims to assist the Khara family in covering funeral expenses during this trying period. As of the latest update, the fundraiser has garnered $3,760 USD out of a $20,000 goal. Nicholas Fotos-Lawton emerged as the most generous donor, contributing $1,000 to support the cause.

Laura Hernandes, the fundraiser organizer, expressed the financial challenges the family faces, stating, “The cost of transportation and funeral expenses are significant, and we seek donations to bring her home.
