Paul Mullen (born November 16, 1991) is an Irish-American rugby union player who plays prop for the Major League Rugby (MLR) Utah Warriors and the United States men’s national team. Mullen previously spent time with the Houston SaberCats, San Diego Legion, and Newcastle Falcons.

Paul Mullen Biography
Paul Mullen is from the Aran Islands near Galway, Ireland. He initially played rugby at the age of 13, while attending the Glenstal Abbey School. Mullen was a member of the team from 2004 until 2009. Mullen also attended The King’s Hospital and played rugby there from 2009 to 2010.
Mullen also played age-grade rugby for Munster before transferring to Texas A&M University. Mullen graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in marine engineering technology and a master’s degree in marine resources management. Mullen lived in Texas and played Gaelic Football with the Houston Gaels while simultaneously continuing to play amateur rugby and becoming a referee with the Texas Rugby Union. He is the younger brother of Eoin Mullen, an Irish racing cyclist.
