Essex, ON – Todd Quinlan, the revered Owner of Quinlan Inc. and former PPKC Club President, has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of support and camaraderie in the karting community. The news of his passing reverberated through social media, with heartfelt tributes describing him as a vital figure in karting photography and reporting, a steadfast supporter, and a cherished friend always willing to lend a helping hand.

Todd faced a valiant battle against cancer and ultimately passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. His departure has deeply saddened and devastated many who knew him, as evidenced by poignant messages shared by friends and close associates, highlighting his impact as a boss, a friend, and an integral part of the karting world.

As a former PPKC Club member and the inaugural PPKC President, Todd was not only a dedicated kart racing parent to his three sons but also a beacon of support within the racing community. Known for his willingness to assist fellow racers and contribute to the Club, his warmth, humor, and knowledge fostered enduring friendships and left an indelible mark on those around him.

In his personal life, Todd was the beloved son of Tom Quinlan and the late Bonnie Quinlan, and a cherished brother to Cheryl Mahon, Crystal Sylvestre, and Melissa Brindley. He shared a profound bond with Tracy Bickford and her sons, Matthew and Zachary Brown. As the proud owner of Quinlan Inc., Todd nurtured the family business and passed it on to the next generation, a testament to his dedication and entrepreneurial spirit.

In honoring Todd’s wishes, a visitation will take place at Reid Funeral Home on December 17th and 18th, welcoming all who wish to pay their respects. While Todd preferred not to have a formal funeral service, a funeral procession will depart from the funeral home for Todd’s final Victory Lap, commemorating his enduring impact on the lives of many in the kart racing community and beyond.
