Outer Banks will be back on Netflix soon with another season. According to the trailer, there are plenty of reasons to be excited about the third season of the Netflix original series. Season 3 will be an adventure, with everything from terrifying encounters to heartfelt reunions. The Netflix teen sitcom, created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate and Shannon Burke, follows a group of teenagers in North Carolina. Here, society is divided between wealthy summer residents, known as Kooks, and local working-class locals, known as Pogues.
The Pogue children are on a journey to find their party leader, John B’s, their missing father, and along the way, they discover a hidden pirate treasure that will seemingly change their lives. The Pogues came together to fend off police enforcement and Kooks while also dealing with personal relationships and the challenges that come with being a poor teenager in America.

The series received a third season refresh in December 2021, and the third season will be available on Netflix in over a year. It will only be available on Netflix as it is a Netflix original series. But things quickly go awry for John B, Sarah, Kiara, Pope, JJ, and Cleo as they find themselves in a race for the prize, practically racing for their lives. They’re broke and far from home, they can’t trust anyone, Ward and Rafe set out for revenge, and there’s an evil Caribbean Don out to claim his reward. Was the treasure ever in their hands? Or was it all just a staging to catch them off guard once and for all? In any case, it’s Pogues vs world, and the only way out is together.
