Season 3 sees the Pogues wash ashore on a deserted island that, briefly, seemed like an ideal home after they lost their wealth and left the Outer Banks. The island’s newest residents, officially named “Poguelandia,” spend their days fishing, swimming and enjoying a leisurely lifestyle in their makeshift homes. But things quickly go awry for John B, Sarah, Kiara, Pope, JJ, and Cleo as they find themselves in a race for the prize, practically racing for their lives. They’re broke and far from home, they can’t trust anyone, Ward and Rafe set out for revenge, and there’s an evil Caribbean Don out to claim his reward. Was the treasure ever in their hands? Or was it all just a staging to catch them off guard once and for all? In any case, it’s Pogues vs world, and the only way out is together.
