Nas Daily creator Nuseir Yassin, a prominent Palestinian Israeli, founded an online learning company with the goal of “disruptive education”. The Academy is currently seeking investment from Pitango, OurCrowd and BECO Capital in Dubai.

At an online press conference this week, Yassin said: “We are a collective of creators from around the world who love bringing people together. Internet education is a lonely and monotonous procedure. Because of this, we are on a mission to improve learning communities. Also, we think that artists will undermine education.

“We chose to go to market and raise capital because we were ready to scale,” he said. With 1,000 one-minute Facebook videos a day documenting Yassin’s travels around the globe, Nas Daily quickly became a viral craze.

He used social media to connect nas, the Arabic word for people, and he succeeded beyond imagination. The Harvard-trained software engineer gave up his lucrative position at Venmo after upbeat, viral videos amassed 50 million followers and tens of billions of views.

Yassin still seeks to connect people online, but he has a different goal. Together with business partners who worked at Uber and Grab, Yassin founded Nas Academy, a learning and content creation startup that helps successful content creators access one platform. where students can learn together and teachers can monetize their expertise. Its headquarters are in Dubai and Singapore, where Yassin currently resides most of the time.

A paying audience of 200,000 students and 100 of the biggest global artists and influencers was captured by Nas Academy in its first year of operation. The Academy offers classes in entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship, and content development.

The academy’s courses have been used by more than 50 international businesses, including Google, TikTok, Pfizer, Singapore Airlines and Bayer, as well as governments and police agencies, to teach their employees.

According to Yassin, because people don’t like to study alone and don’t complete courses, the previous model of downloading educational courses from the internet has failed. According to him, Nas Academy has created a “team-based learning model,” grouping students to form a “learning community” that supports and motivates each other.
