Mitch Hausmann from Grand Rapids passes away in tragic car crash: obituary

Grand Rapids, MI – Grand Rapids, Michigan – The Grand Rapids community is reeling from the loss of Mitch Hausmann, a beloved resident who tragically passed away on December 2nd, 2023, following a severe car accident that occurred on November 20th.

Mitch, known as Kate Hausmann’s husband, succumbed to injuries sustained in the collision, leaving the community in deep sorrow and mourning.

Reports reveal that Mitch Hausmann suffered a traumatic brain injury during the devastating car accident. Despite extensive medical efforts, his condition showed no signs of improvement, and he remained unconscious and reliant on a ventilator while receiving intensive care at Butterworth Hospital until his passing.
