Crystal River, FL – The community is rallying to locate 76-year-old Dianne Durling, who was last seen in the Crystal River neighborhood on September 11, 2023. The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office received a missing person report on September 12, triggering a concerted effort to find her.
Dianne Durling is described as a white female, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with brown eyes and white hair. Her loved ones last saw her on September 11, 2023, around 7:30 p.m. There is a high likelihood that she is traveling in a blue 2016 Kia Rio with Florida license plate number JYUX15. The vehicle’s back hatch displays a green “VT” sticker. Unfortunately, her direction of travel, destination, and current attire are unknown.
To bolster the search and raise awareness about Dianne’s disappearance, the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office issued a Silver Alert on September 14. The Silver Alert system is an essential tool used to notify the public about missing elderly individuals, especially those with medical conditions requiring assistance. “UPDATE – SILVER ALERT – VEHICLE LOCATED – DIANNE DURLING STILL MISSINGSILVER ALERT UPDATE- Ms. Dianne Durling’s unattended vehicle was located late last night in the Yankeetown area of Levy County.The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office along with our partners at the Levy County Sheriff’s Office are still continuing to search for the whereabouts of Ms. Durling.”
