Hydro-Québec’s incoming chairman and CEO is expected to be Michael Sabia, according to several media outlets on Tuesday.
Sabia, Canada’s deputy finance minister since 2020, previously served as president of the CDPQ (Caisse de depot et Placement du Quebec) for ten years.
According to the publication Les Affaires, his nomination will become official at the Council of Ministers on Wednesday.
