A year after the film’s debut, a sequel to Black Panther was officially revealed in 2019. However, due to the untimely death of star Chadwick Boseman in August 2020, the film’s producers were forced to make significant adjustments. The filming was also allegedly hampered by the COVID-19 epidemic. According to The Hollywood Reporter, one of the stars, Letitia Wright, was injured while filming in November 2021, further delaying the project. Filming began in January 2022 and ended two months later in March. Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, and Angela Bassett have crucial parts in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The film is set to be released on November 11, 2022.
