The Department of Public Safety (DPS) has confirmed a devastating accident on Farm-to-Market 2507, three miles west of Alice, resulting in the tragic loss of Mariee Cryss and Chela Cris Ramirez, both residents of Alice, Texas.
The accident occurred on a Tuesday night, prompting DPS to respond to the scene at 7:50 p.m. According to DPS Sgt. Harold Mallory, the collision took place when a southbound vehicle crossed into the northbound lane, leading to a collision with another vehicle.

Mariee Cryss and Chela Cris Ramirez, occupants of the first vehicle, lost their lives in the collision, while the driver of the second vehicle was ejected but survived, along with the three other occupants of the vehicle.
