Marcus Wybrow, originally rooted in Squamish, exemplified an unparalleled adoration for exploration, using the towering Chief as his expansive playground. Countless hours were invested in prospecting and refining new routes on the formidable faces of this immense granite monolith. Beyond the physical challenges, Marcus’s relentless pursuit of uncharted territories revealed a profound desire to redefine the limits of vertical possibilities.
A graduate of Thompson Rivers University’s Adventure Guide Diploma program, with a focus on guiding and instructional skills, Marcus laid the educational foundation for his audacious goal of achieving the prestigious ACMG Mountain Guide certification. Squamish, with its diverse climbing opportunities, became the canvas for Marcus’s artistic approach to route development.
Presently an apprentice ACMG Rock and Alpine Guide, Marcus was actively engaged with the Canadian Avalanche Association, concurrently progressing through the ACMG Ski Guide program.
