The community of North Sydney, New South Wales, is mourning the loss of Lloyd Wilkinson, a prominent figure known for his pioneering contributions to the realm of fire engineering and team leadership. As the Director of Fire Engineering at E-LAB Consulting, Lloyd played a pivotal role in spearheading teams for esteemed tier 1 organizations on local and national levels, leaving an indelible mark on numerous renowned projects worldwide.
With over a decade of extensive experience in the United Kingdom, the Middle East, Africa, South East Asia, New Zealand, and Australia, Lloyd was renowned for his client-centered approach, ensuring the successful execution of projects under his guidance. Graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Galway in Ireland in 2007, he later pursued a Master of Science degree in Fire Safety Engineering from the University of Ulster’s FireSERT research center, further enhancing his expertise in the field.
Lloyd’s proficiency extended across a diverse array of undertakings and business sectors, with a particular emphasis on sophisticated fire engineering modeling. His mastery encompassed computational fluid dynamic approaches for assessing smoke formation in various complex environments, including airport hangars, warehouses, atriums, residential spaces, rail stations, and shopping malls.
